Manufacturer or trading company: how to tell
A "mould manufacturing company" and a trading company can send back an identical-looking quotation. A manufacturer designs and cuts the tool and runs the presses on its own floor. A trading company forwards your drawing to whichever shop is free that week and adds a margin without owning the equipment. A trader cannot promise which press your part will run on, and if that shop's schedule slips, so does yours.

What runs on the floor
Twenty-five to 3,000 tons of clamp force across an owned fleet covers most production part sizes without subcontracting the molding step. Shot weight tops out at 8 kg on our own presses; heavier shots run through a named partner press rather than being quietly relabelled as ours. Tolerance defaults to DIN 16742, held to ±0.1 mm typical and ±0.05 mm on CMM-verified critical features. Material range in house spans ABS, PC, PC-ABS, PP, PA6, PA66, PA-GF30, POM, PBT, PBT-GF, PMMA, TPE and TPU, with further grades on request; the full list is on materials. Check any manufacturer's material list by grade, not family, since two grades in the same family can shrink differently and need different tools.
Certification, stated rather than implied
Trumould holds ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. We do not hold IATF 16949 (automotive) or ISO 13485 (medical device), and we do not operate a rated cleanroom. Where a program needs one of those, we say so rather than let a "quality-focused" claim stand in for a certificate we cannot produce. Scope and the rest of the quality system are on the quality page.
"ISO certified" alone tells you nothing about scope. Ask any mould manufacturing company for the certificate number and the certified site by name.
Lead time and minimum order quantity
New tooling runs 4 to 8 weeks to first article, by tool class and complexity. Parts on tooling we already hold, or that you supply, run 3 working days from purchase order. Both figures are quoted per part, because tool build, first article and production release are three separate dates, and one number that does not say which is not comparable to another molder's number.
We carry no contractual minimum order quantity. Our economic floor sits at roughly 500 pieces; below that, the tooling cost divided across a short run usually makes CNC machining or 3D printing cheaper despite a higher piece price, and we quote it that way. How to compare mould manufacturing companies and injection molding companies in India
Most quotations for the same drawing look similar until you ask what sits behind the number. These apply to any manufacturer, not only Trumould; the fuller reasoning is in our checklist for choosing an injection mold manufacturer.

- Which tolerance standard applies, and whether critical dimensions are CMM-verified
- Certificate numbers for any certification claimed
- Who owns the tool once paid in full, in writing

- Material specified by grade, not family
A manufacturer who answers all seven without hedging has quoted enough real parts to know them cold. That does not rule out one who cannot, but you are absorbing the risk, so price it in.

Everything is molded on the Delhi floor; there is no second site elsewhere in India. Parts travel by road to other cities, with freight times and GST treatment (IGST versus the CGST plus SGST split for a Delhi-based buyer) confirmed on the quotation.
